here are over 10 million sour cheery trees in Serbia. Average annual production of sour cherries stands at around 75,000 metric tons.

About 90 percent of sour cherries grown in Serbia are the Oblacinska variety. Other varieties include the Sumadinka and Burlat’s Early.

Sweet Cherries

Annual production of sweet cherries in Serbia is about 25,000 metric tons. Main varieties include the Bing, Lambert, Burlat, Lapins, Sweetheart, Stella, Asen’s Early, and Dragan’s Yellow.
