Serbia Brings a Flurry of New Organic Products to Biofach
 xquisite wild mushrooms, served in fine restaurants around the world. Hard to get organic raspberries. Delicate preserves made from wild blueberries, wild strawberries and cornelian cherries. Organic whole wheat, pomegranate vinegar, pumpkin seed oil, sunflower seed butter, those are just some of the wide range of exceptional new organic products Serbia will showcase at Biofach this year.
Well known for its high quality fruit and food products, Serbia is now offering many of those in organic, too. Serbia has one of the largest potential for organic production in Europe: up to 15% of all arable land is agrochemicals-free, ready for organic certification.
“Organic production and certification is in full swing in Serbia” - says Natasa Vujovic of Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA). “Serbian companies are launching many new quality organic products. International buyers liked our conventional produce a lot, I'm certain they'll love our organics.”
Seven Serbian companies will exhibit at Biofach in Nuremberg, from February 21 to 24. Serbia's national pavilion is located Hall 4, Stand 4-536.
Serbian exhibit is assisted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia, SIEPA, GTZ and the USAID Agribusiness Project.

STATUS
Status organic line currently offers certified Aceta Aurelia vinegar made of wild apples. The company is presenting its exclusive product for the first time and planning to export all of its 600,000 bottles. The vinegar contains 4% alcohol and is packed into 0.375l and 0.5l bottles. Apple vinegar with honey represents the latest addition to Status’ offer. The products have been BCS and OCS certified.
