Having Doubled its Fresh Fruit Exports, Serbia is Back With More
 erbian producers are back in Berlin this year to offer more fresh, tasty and all-natural produce following two years of successful presentations at Fruit Logisitca
Well known for its superior quality raspberries and exceptional variety of wild mushrooms, Serbia is quickly establishing itself as a trusted European supplier of fresh apples, peaches, plums, pears and sour cherries. Serbia enjoyed a triple digit increase in fresh fruit exports in 2006 and the producers are rapidly expanding their production capacity and acquiring GLOBALGAP certifications.
“These past two years at Fruit Logistica buyers seemed quite impressed with our fruit quality and were especially interested in our pricing” – says Milka Nikolic of PIK Juzni Banat, a leading Serbian grower - “We exported almost half of our annual fruit production, a bit more than 7,000 tons”.
On display will be certified organic mushrooms, tomatoes, apples, apricots, plums, sour cherries, blueberries and of course our international heavyweight - raspberries. This array of nature’s delicacies will be waiting for you at the Serbian Pavilion.
